The draft law on the ratification of the free trade zone agreement, provided in the agenda of a special session on July 30, provoked a number of ultimatum appeals from the people?s deputies.
V. Lytvyn informed about this in Novohrad-Volynskyi of Zhytomyr region on Saturday, answering the journalists? questions. In particular, he said that the people?s deputies demand a number of reservations to be stipulated during the ratification saying that "this agreement applies only to the part that is not contrary to the signed and initial free trade zone agreement with the European Union".
V.Lytvyn also noted that these appeals were sent to the specialized parliamentary committee.
The Chairman does not say that the ratification of free trade zone agreement is unnecessary since "we have a number of problems regarding cooperation with the Russian Federation that should be resolved to fully settle the issue concerning cooperation with the Russian Federation". Not less problems are there in other spheres, noted V.Lytvyn, in particular, what concerns production and sale of pipes.
